PIA flight searched in London, cleared by British authorities

LONDON: A Pakistan Worldwide Airline flight from Islamabad to London was searched by UK’s border company officers, sources knowledgeable Geo Information.

Company officers, together with sniffer canine, searched the aircraft for 5 hours.

The 17 British officers took off panels from the aircraft and did a radical search. They had been performing on a tip-off that medicine had been being smuggled aboard the aircraft.
